The Pousada do Amparo is located in the 'Amparo' district of Olinda, an artisan area. Two colonial houses have been combined to form the pousada, which has a garden on the slopes of a hill with views of Recife and featuring two swimming pools. The twelve apartments are all unique, and all feature air-conditioning as standard. Some have a Jacuzzi and work by the local artists; some also have a wide veranda with a view of Recife, and others look over Amparo Street.
