Kourou

Kourou, a town with a modern French atmosphere, famed for the fascinating European Space Centre.

Kourou is located on the North Atlantic coast and famous for the Guiana Space Centre. Here, you can see various rocket assembly buildings and the control centres of the incredible European satellite launch complex. 

Kourou itself is an attractive small seaside town with a distinct French flavour with excellent shops, cafes and restaurants.
